Vinit Bodas

Born outside of London, England, Vinit Bodas spent his youth playing cricket and getting into trouble. The youngest of 4 boys, Bodas enjoyed the role of family comedian, constantly looking for ways to make his parents and brothers laugh. Prior to earning his degree, Bodas was a referee for the local cricket club. He soon became known as ‘the Wacky Whistle Blower’, due to his silliness and sideline pranks..

Vinit Bodas earned a dual Master’s degree in education and theater. He was a beloved teacher and elementary school theater director in England for 2 decades. The Wacky Whistle Blower resumed his teaching career after moving across the pond to South Carolina, with his wife and two daughters. He is particularly proud of the British flair he brought to the many Thanksgiving and Christmas pageants he directed over the years. Now retired, Vinit Bodas is an avid ornithologist who loves to track species that are native to the Carolinas. He has tried and failed to start a local cricket club multiple times, but he never tires of arguing with his neighbors that cricket is better than baseball.
